 Grace to You and Peace

Welcome to the Website of the First Presbyterian Church in Miller, South Dakota

We are a worshipping and praying community of disciples of Jesus Christ.

If you are looking for a place to worship, or a place to seek after God, a place to pray or sing or meditate, we welcome you.

We see ourselves as a church to the community of Hand County -- a congregation of people continually seeking God's will for us and for the world.

We are dedicated to promoting God's work and God's Word in the congregation, in the community, and in the world.

We hope that you will take some time to explore our site, and please know that you are welcome to join us for worship, youth groups or any of our activities.

This week's Household Morning Prayer

Gracious God, help me to receive this day as gift: in the tasks for which I do not feel prepared, in the needs I am not strong enough to meet.  In my caution and in my confidence teach me to listen for your voice and to watch for your provision.  Grant me the gift of life in community, that I might witness your desire flowing through others, that I might be joined to greater service, for I pray in the name of Jesus, whose every breath was praise.  Amen.

This week's Household Evening Prayer

Lord of life, as I recollect this day, help me to recognize your witness in truth that challenged convenience, in decisions that stretched my heart, in forgiveness freely offered.  Teach me to trust the sound of your voice and to follow where you lead, for I would serve in the shelter of your reign. Amen.

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to Technical difficulties with the recording equipment, we have not been able to put additional sermon videos on our website here -- we do hope to have this issue resolved in the near future and thank you for your patience and understanding.
